-History
According to legend, Byakko turn white when it reached the age of 500 years. It was said that the white tiger would only appear when the Guardians ruled with absolute virtue, or if there was peace throughout the world. Wikipedia Byakko
Kyougu has spent the first part of his life being worshiped as a god of sorts to the people of the shrine he was born into, taught by monks and samurai in the ways of the sword. With the surfacing of the Rokon-no-Tama more demons crept out from their hiding spaces in search for it's whereabouts, searching for the power it gave off. As a result more demons began to find their way into the town where Kyougu's shrine was located. As a Guardian, Kyougu fullfilled his promise of protecting the people who he thought all as his family. At first The people praised him and love him for his protection, but along with the warmth in people's hearts also came darkness. Those who had become terrified of these demon attacks began to wonder if these demons were attracted to Kyougu (these people did not know of the Rokon-no-Tama's existence). Small Riots started, first it began with wanting Kyougu cleansed.. then it lead to them wanting him gone completely.  Things turned from worse to violent, through the actions of the crazy or desperate Kyougu was forced out of the shrine. Kyougu was at a loss on what to do for the people he loved and the people that once loved him.  Even he himself was unsure as to why these demons continued to show up and began to believe that it was indeed himself that was causing these things to happen. Torn between staying and protecting his people or protecting them with his absence was something he dwelled on for months. He remained in the town for this time, silently protecting his people with the cover of the night.  When he was caught he was treated as if he was a demon himself, feeling betrayed and desperate he finally found it in himself to leave.

The Tiger demon traveled with nothing but the clothes on his back, selling his expensive and elegant kimono for food or a place to stay. He wouldn't be needing it anymore after all. His life as a 'god' was now just life as a demon, he would no longer be spoiled or have a warm bed and home to return to. Through his travels he came to learn that most demons seemed to treat him as one of their own and didn't even seem to bother to attack him. He was confused with this and that perhaps the demons attacking his town weren't really after him. Year by Year of traveling alone he came to hear of something called the Shikon-no-tama and a jewel similar called Rokon-no-tama. He searched for information on it, thinking that it had been  the cause of increased demon activity. With heavy resistance he forced his way into a different shrine and requested this information. One of the monks there recognized Kyougu and his markings, he allowed the previous 'god' to join him. It was then that he learned of the Entities that once tried to protect the jewel, only to be thrown into conflict over it. The jewel had been split into shards and sent throughout the land. Demons are looking for the shards to gain the power  that the shards contain.

He wondered if his old shrine had contained one of these jewel shards and that was why so many demons were attracted there. It would explain why there was a strange vibe pouring into the shrine a few months before he had been driven away so long ago.   Eventually Kyougu returned to his home town to see that it was been flattened to the ground and destroyed, the footprints and unnatural damage done to the buildings reeked of demons. Surprisingly enough, that vibe he had been feeling back then was no longer here. All that was left was the skeletons of his former loved ones.

In Rage and grief Kyougu went on a killing spree, killing lowly demons that were close to the town for no other reason than for vengance. He swore he would find the pieces then destroy the jewel for good.

-Misc

:bulletred: Kyougu may act like he hates it but he actually really enjoys scratches behind the ear or his ears being touched in general.
:bulletred: NO TOUCHIE TAIL. TAIL IS INSTANT MAD.
:bulletred: Kyougu likes mochis, he likes sweet things despite his appearance.
:bulletred: His eyes are brown but glow blue when he taps into his demonic power.
:bulletred: Kyougu can take the form of a real tiger (about twice as big) though he does not know this ability yet.
:bulletred: Despite being spoiled during his times as a shrine 'god' he does not act this way nor does he expect people to serve him.
